My trip to Uzbekistan far exceeded my expectations! I can't imagine anyone else would have the depth of knowledge and contacts that you have. Being able to stay with a craftsman and his family was a particularly wonderful experience and one that most people never have. And seeing how ikat is made, watching the embroidery process, visiting antique shops and meeting the many, many skilled artisans was a treat I will remember all of my life.

And to finish in Bukhara at the comfortable Salom Inn was the perfect cap to the perfect trip!
